Stacy Spann is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and is a Senior Analyst for Internal Audit and Advisory Services.

Stacy’s responsibilities with IAAS include providing assurance and consulting services to NU System clients to add value to their daily business operations. She acts as a liaison for all system campuses, though her office is at UNMC.

Prior to joining the university in 2024, Stacy lived and worked in Texas and Georgia. She has a background in the legal profession and is a licensed attorney in Texas (inactive). Stacy has over seven years of experience in internal audit, having previously worked with a large state university system.

Stacy earned her Juris Doctor degree from The University of Michigan Law School and her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in management from University of Dallas, where she graduated with highest honors.

Stacy and her husband, Robert, have two daughters, Ava and Scarlett.
